Last week, the Aggies came in at No. 9 in the AP and No. 10 in the Coaches. I did not see foresee a big change in the polls with only one match-up of top 10 teams last week. What was surprising when both were released was how close the Aggies are from being a top 5 team?
In the AP poll, the Aggies are only 109 points behind No. 5 Florida. I expect A&M to be ahead of No. 6 Wichita State (five points ahead currently) next if the Aggies can beat Arizona and Prairie View A&M this week.
