The men advanced to the championship game with wins over Cal State Northridge and Virginia Tech, but would ultimately fall to UCLA on Sunday evening.
Texas A&M Basketball boasts an extremely young team for this season, consisting of only three upper classmen in junior Tonny Trocha-Morelos, senior Tavario Miller, and graduate transfer JC Hampton.
The rest of the team is composed of sophomores and freshman, including returning stars Tyler Davis, Admon Gilder and DJ Hogg as well as freshman standouts Robert Williams and Eric Villa.
While the Aggies did not come out of California as champions, there was much success to talk about from the tournament.
