On Friday junior guard Admon Gilder became the third Texas A&M player to declare for the 2018 NBA Draft. He follows sophomore forward Robert Williams and junior center Tyler Davis. Fellow junior guard DJ Hogg could become the next and final Aggie to announce his possible departure, but its unlikely all of them leave Aggieland this year.
Williams is a fringe lottery prospect. When he made the decision to go pro he meant it. He’ll be hiring an agent, therefor forfeiting his remaining NCAA eligibility. The others, Gilder included, are taking a more cautious approach.
