The Texas A&M baseball team had two players named to the preseason All-American team.
Texas A&M junior outfielder Nick Banks was named to the Louisville Slugger preseason All-American team. He made the first-team while junior reliever Mark Ecker was named to the third-team.
Banks is a five-tool player who hit .364 with eight home runs and 48 RBIs in 2015. He has tremendous speed defensively and one of the better arms in college baseball. Banks led Team USA with a .386 batting average and a .491 on base percentage. He is expected to be a first-round pick in the 2016 major league draft.
