Texas A&M Baseball: Aggies Drop Second Straight Series to Ole Miss

The Aggies started the weekend on a very high note, with a seven run victory to open the series. The pitching staff faltered on Saturday and Sunday, however, and the Ags have fallen to 15-12 in league play after dropping their second consecutive series. When only one of your three starting pitchers lasts six innings, it’s hard to win games.

There is a silver lining, though. For just the third time since joining the SEC, A&M will avoid a losing record in conference play. Given how good the Aggies have been on the diamond the last two seasons, this feels a bit silly to even mention.
