Chipola (Fla.) College guard Brandon Mahan signed with Texas A&M's men's basketball team on Wednesday to give the Aggies a much-needed addition to its 2018 recruiting class.
Mahan is the second player to sign with A&M and coach Billy Kennedy during this cycle, with both being guards from the junior college ranks.
Last week, Trinity Valley C.C. guard and former Baylor player Wendell Mitchell signed with the Aggies.
Mahan averaged 14.1 points per game for Chipola last season and knocked down 50.3 percent of his 3-point shots. His signing comes on the heels of the departure of A&M's lone high school signee, Antwann Jones.
