Texas A&M junior linebacker Josh Walker has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest Friday in a domestic incident.
Walker was arrested and charged with assault with bodily injury to a family member and interfering with an emergency request for assistance, according to the Brazos County Sheriff's Office. Bond was not immediately set.
The sheriff's office did not identify the assault victim, and no other details were immediately available.
Texas A&M said, based on athletic department policy, that Walker had been suspended immediately and indefinitely.
Walker has started five games in his two seasons with the Aggies.
