Texas A&M’s postseason struggles against TCU are well-documented. TCU defeated A&M on their way to winning the College Station Regional in 2012, beat the Aggies in Super Regionals in back-to-back years in 2015 and 2016, and beat them when both teams made it to the College World Series in 2017.
But that’s when Jim Schlossnagle was in the other dugout.
It took 15 runs over the last four innings, including an incredible seven-run ninth inning, but the Aggies finally got the TCU monkey off their back, and won the College Station Regional.
