The Sporting News compiled a list of the 16 most hated college football players of all time, and, not suprisingly, several players with ties to the Lone Star State were on it.

In fact, the most-hated player on the list - former Oklahoma Sooners linebacker Brian "The Boz" Bosworth - played high school ball at Irving MacArthur. Bosworth's stay at OU was marked by controversy (in a 1988 biography, he described a football program laden with drug use and where gunplay was common in the athletic dorm).
