Jace Sternberger may be gone to the NFL, but Texas A&M's tight-end depth chart just got a little deeper.
Southlake Carroll tight end Blake Smith announced via Twitter on Sunday that he has committed to Texas A&M.
Smith is the first tight end in the Aggies' 2020 recruiting class. According to 247Sports, Smith is ranked as a three-star recruit and the 25th-best tight end in the nation's 2020 recruiting class.
Smith held multiple offers, including some from Alabama, Baylor, TCU, Boston College and California.
