COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin and Aggies secondary coach Terry Joseph have both said sophomore cornerback Nick Harvey is performing like the Nick Harvey of old.
The old, old Harvey, not the Harvey of more recent old. An explanation is clearly in order:
“Nick Harvey has had a great camp and he’s really been the Nick Harvey we wanted him to be,” Sumlin said this week. “He’s more confident, more relaxed. He’s always had that talent, and just for whatever reason wouldn’t (always) turn it on, and when he did it wasn’t consistent.”
Harvey was a touted recruit out of Fort Bend Travis High a year ago, and played in every game last season for the 8-5 Aggies.
