Earlier today we ranked the top front sevens in the SEC last season. Now, to close out our weeklong position-by-position breakdown, our SEC reporters present the top 10 players who either played on the defensive line or at linebacker.
1. LB Reggie Ragland, Alabama: If we agree that Alabama had the best defense in the SEC — and the country, for that matter — then we have to give an enormous amount of credit to its quarterback on the field, Ragland. The senior not only got everyone on the same page, he led the team in tackles with 102 total stops.
