SEC musings: On loosened alcohol restrictions, league's new bowl games and Alabama's biggest roadblock

Ben Baby, Texas A&M beat writer for SportsDayDFW.com and The Dallas Morning News, answered questions about the team and the SEC in a live chat recently. Here are some of the highlights:

Question: So, the SEC alcohol ban has been lifted. Will we see it served at Kyle Field this fall?

Baby: New A&M athletic director Ross Bjork was hesitant to say when A&M will add beer and wine across the stadium in Kyle Field, but I imagine that will happen soon. Florida athletic director Scott Stricklin, who used to hold the same post at Mississippi State, joked that Bjork knew all the loopholes in Mississippi to serve alcohol at sporting events when he was the AD at Mississippi.
