CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Texas A&M won't exactly be facing a traditional No. 10 seed in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
On Friday, the Aggies will face a Providence team that other teams are envious of. Last week in the Big East tournament, the Friars knocked off Xavier in the semifinals before advancing to the championship game, where they lost to Villanova in overtime.
Xavier and Villanova earned two of the four top seeds in this year's tournament. It's one of the reasons why Providence senior guard Kyron Cartwright feels like the team is playing as well as any team in the country.
