The Boston Celtics have selected former Texas A&M basketball forward Robert Williams with the No. 27 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, and they may have one of the steals of the draft when it is all said and done.
I had the Celtics as one of the five best fits for Williams, mostly because they have so much offense already and won’t ask him to do much on that end. He can be an energy guy off the bench and an elite rebounder and defensive presence.
Williams is never going to be an offensive superstar, save for some vast improvements to his jump shot in the first couple years of his career.
