As Texas A&M's men's basketball season wrapped up, it seemed one of the SEC's best players was not going to be playing for the Aggies next season.
Freshman Robert Williams, a 6-9 forward who turned into a shot-blocking, rim-rattling draft prospect, seemed destined for the NBA after one season in College Station. On Tuesday, Williams announced he will be coming back for at least one more year.
That piece of good news bodes well for an A&M team that fans will be expecting to make the NCAA tournament, at the very least. The Aggies are now expected to return all four leading scorers from this year's team that finished with a 16-15 record and missed a major postseason tournament.
