When it comes to making money, nobody was better than Texas A&M.
According to a report from USA Today, A&M's athletic department led the country in total revenue for the 2015-16 school year. The Aggies generated more than $194 million. Texas was second in the country, trailing A&M by a little less than $7 million.
Oklahoma checked in at No. 6. Six of the top 10 programs hailed from the SEC.
A&M's football team is the main reason why the Aggies outpaced the rest of the country by millions.
As The News reported in February, A&M's football team generated $69.
