Following his participation in the University of San Diego's Pro Day Thursday, former Texas A&M quarterback opened up on his return to football and touched on other personal matters, according to a report by Sports Illustrated.
Manziel's surprise appearance was his first time throwing in front of NFL representatives since 2015. He was asked to attend the event by two San Diego receivers and Manziel's former quarterback coach George Whitfield.
His outing was positive, completing 38 of 40 passes in front of 13 teams amidst a light rain.
"Man, I thought it went good," Manziel told SI Thursday afternoon.
