After admitting to having alcohol abuse issues last week on Good Morning America, Johnny Manziel received sobriety advice from former NBA player and Dallas Maverick Lamar Odom amidst Manziel's #ComebackSZN.
In an interview with TMZ Sports, Odom said his top advice for Manziel to stay on the right path is to stay firm in faith.
"Put higher power first," Odom said, "Whoever his God may be."
Odom dealt with drug problems after his NBA career ended in 2013 with the Los Angeles Clippers. He was arrested for a DUI in August 2013, and was hospitalized with a coma in October 2015 after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel due to drug overdose.
