Four-star offensive guard Barton Clement has committed to Texas A&M.
Gigem247 reports that Clement announced his decision Sunday at the Aggies’ recruiting barbecue.
Clement, from Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Marshall, chose Texas A&M over Auburn, Florida, Houston, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, TCU, Texas and UCLA.
Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin helped confirm Clement’s commitment by celebrating on Twitter like he does for all others who pledge to Texas A&M.
The 6-foot-2, 301-pound Clement received his Texas A&M offer on Feb. 28, 2016. His primary recruiter is running backs coach Clarence McKinney and his secondary recruiter is offensive line coach Jim Turner.
