A former Plano West standout and key contributor on Texas A&M's men's basketball team is turning pro.
Junior forward D.J. Hogg has hired an agent and will enter the upcoming NBA Draft, according to TexAgs.com. Hogg, a highly-coveted recruit coming out of high school, started 31 games last season and averaged 11.1 points per game.
Hogg becomes the first player from A&M's team that recently reached the Sweet 16 to definitely declare for the draft.
Junior center Tyler Davis (Plano West) and junior guard Admon Gilder (Madison) have decided to enter the draft. But since they haven't signed with agents, they are still eligible to return for their senior years.
