The Southwest Classic has never had high stakes for both teams during Texas A&M's stint with the Southeastern Conference. Moreover, both teams haven't been simultaneously ranked when facing each other during that period.
Now, Arkansas has an opportunity to finally snap A&M's four-game winning streak over the Razorbacks. If Arkansas comes out victorious, it will be more than likely undefeated before facing Alabama in two weeks.
