Here are three quick takeaways from No. 20 Texas A&M’s (23-7, 12-5 SEC) 81-63 victory over Auburn (11-18, 5-12 SEC):
1. Chasing a championship. A&M handled business on Tuesday night, leaving Auburn Arena with a victory to keep pace with the Kentucky Wildcats at the top of the Southeastern conference standings.
Danuel House had 19 points to lead the Aggies in scoring while fellow senior Jalen Jones trailed shortly behind with 16 points of his own. Both rosters held double digit leads in the matchup but a strong second half made the difference for the team from College Station.
