HOOVER, Ala.- No. 13 Texas A&M sits in a tie atop the leaderboard in the 2015 SEC Women’s Golf Championship, posting a 293 (+5) in the first of three rounds. No. 14 Tennessee and No. 17 Vanderbilt are tied with the Aggies for the tournament lead at the Greystone Golf and Country Club.
The Aggies’ 293 marks the lowest single-round score A&M has posted in their three-year history at the SEC Championship. In addition, Bianca Fabrizio recorded the lowest single-round score by an individual Aggie at the SEC Championship with a 70 (-2).
The Aggies were led by Fabrizio, who sits in a tie for second individually, three shots behind tournament leader Jenny Hahn (67/-5) of Vanderbilt.
