Texas A&M got its man, luring Jimbo Fisher to College Station to coach the Aggies football team. Fisher resigned from his heading coaching position at Florida State, the school announced Friday.
Fisher will not coach the Seminoles in their regular-season finale against Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday.
Here is some national reaction to A&M's hire:
Florida State went 10-2 vs SEC opponents under Jimbo Fisher (since 2010). That's the best record of any non-SEC school to play at least 5 games against the conference over that span.

What a job by Texas A&M to get Jimbo Fisher.
