Myles Garrett counters claims that his college stats were inflated

Myles Garrett has heard your accusations.

The former Texas A&M defensive end knows people are out there (mostly in Knoxville, Tennessee), saying the projected top pick in this spring's NFL Draft was only effective against bad teams.

In an interview with Houston's KIKK-AM on Wednesday afternoon, Garrett discarded that notion like he sheds offensive tackles during his three years with the Aggies.

"They can say I stat-padded, but in big games, when I was healthy, I didn't come up short," Garrett told KIKK-AM.

Last season, Garrett was often contrasted against Tennessee defensive end Derek Barnett, one of the top pass rushers in the nation.
