Look no further: Florida State AD, former assistants blame Seminoles' 2018 collapse on ex-head coach Jimbo Fisher

After finishing the 2018 season with a losing record and having the school's 36-year bowl streak snapped, Florida State fans aren't having much fun right now.

Which, is weird. Considering they were basking in national championship glory only six years ago.

Steady rises rarely lead to such sudden falls.

And after Jimbo Fisher -- the coach who led the Seminoles to their first championship in 2013 -- left for a then record-setting contract to coach at Texas A&M, current head coach Willie Taggart has been the easy fall guy for FSU's decline. Not only the team's decline on the field, but also the program's poor performance on the recruiting trail and in the classroom.
