Baylor wide receiver KD Cannon announced via Twitter on Wednesday that he will forgo his final year of eligibility to enter the 2017 NFL draft.
Cannon thanked his teammates and Baylor fans.
"We have endured so much during these last couple of seasons, and I am proud to say that my brothers and I kept our heads held high," Cannon wrote.
"As a father, all of my decisions now are made with the best interest of my children and family in mind," he continued. "So through much prayer and consideration, I have made the exciting decision to enter the NFL draft.
