Last night, Brigham Hill and the Ags blanked the Georgia Bulldogs, 5-0, and snapped a four game losing streak. In the process, they took down one of the SEC's best pitchers in Robert Tyler, who came into the weekend sporting a 3-1 record and a 2.40 ERA. He was also coming off of a near no-hitter last weekend against Alabama.
This afternoon, Jace Vines will take the hill looking to avenge his poor start last Sunday against Florida. His ERA has ballooned all the way up to 4.37, but he just didn't look like himself last weekend. Maybe that's because he was pushed back to Sunday, maybe he was still feeling some of the effects from the illness, or maybe both.
