Kyle Field will be open to visitors from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13. No, this isn’t football-related, it’s so that people can go in there and play Pokemon Go, the smartphone game that is sweeping the world. Fans can enter at Entry 3 on the west side of Kyle Field.
This is a growing trend at sporting venues, as Nebraska and Notre Dame have already announced similar promotions, and many others will likely follow suit.
While this may sound ridiculous to some, at least it allows players to catch their Pokemon in a safe and appropriate environment.
