Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett is surely going to be one of the top players to watch in college football this season. That isn’t because he is on the level of Ohio State’s Joey Bosa.
It’s because of who his coach, Kevin Sumlin, compares him to.
In a Sports Illustrated article featuring Garrett being driven by his two older siblings, Sumlin was asked what the sophomore’s play is like on the field. He gave a rather unique answer.
He claims Brea (Garrett) is as strong and explosive as the Aggies’ linebackers and in a single conversation compares Myles with Adrian Peterson (explosion), Jean-Claude Van Damme (flexibility and strength) and a cat (body contortion).
