After informing us all that his trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, is "lit," former Cleveland Browns and Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is saying that he's going sober.
But sobriety can wait until the start of July.
TMZ Sports reports they got a hold of the former Heisman winner Wednesday and he told the site that his sobriety plan starts Friday.
Manziel landed in Cabo on Tuesday and posted a photo to Instagram that seemed to roll his father, who recently called Manziel a "druggie."
On Tuesday, Manziel was wearing a Cleveland Browns jersey, the same team that dumped him back in March.
