What a long, strange trip it's been for Johnny Manziel.
In the three years since his last game with the Cleveland Browns, the former Heisman Trophy winner out of Texas A&M could be closing in on his third professional football league outside of the NFL.
The ex-NFL, ex-CFL, ex-AAF quarterback now has his sights set on the XFL and on the city of Houston, according to the Houston Chronicle's John McClain.
"It's a stone's throw from College Station," he said on Saturday. "A lot of Aggies drove from Houston to College Station. Houston's a great city that'll always be near and dear to me.
