DESTIN, Fla. -- Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher said he and Alabama coach Nick Saban spoke before this week's SEC spring meetings and set aside their differences after a public spat two weeks ago.
"It's over with," Fisher said Wednesday. "We're done talking about it. We're moving on to try to fix the problems of what we have in college football. There are a lot more pressing needs than our arguments."
Saban made waves during a meeting with local business leaders in Birmingham, Alabama, two weeks ago, when he claimed that Texas A&M "bought every player" its top-ranked recruiting class with name, image and likeness deals.
