Aggies quarterbacks Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray — both former five-star recruits — announced plans to transfer within a few days of each other in December. Monday, Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight announced he would move on to A&M as a graduate transfer. (Murray, as it turns out, is heading to Oklahoma.)
Other than drawing the attention of Perry, Knight has had one big moment as a collegian, when he threw for 348 yards and four TDs to lead OU past Alabama in the Sugar Bowl following the 2013 season. Knight was OU’s starting quarterback in 2014 but struggled, and he lost his starting job to Baker Mayfield this season.
