COLLEGE STATION – Rain, and then more rain, is keeping the grass green and the creeks full in and around the Texas A&M campus, but how much is the (usually) precious stuff impacting the Kyle Field rebuild? The project’s manager, Greg McClure of Manhattan-Vaughn, dubbed dealing with rain and the weather simply “the nature of construction.”
“You have to just keep going,” McClure said during a recent update on the $485 million construction site along Wellborn Road. “You don’t have the option to stop.”
A&M is in the process of constructing a completely new West (former students) side, after imploding the old one four days before Christmas.
