There’s a sad irony to Trevor Knight’s final regular season ending because of a shoulder injury.
After all, throughout the spring, his nine games as a starter and his entire time at Texas A&M, the graduate transfer shouldered a ton of A&M’s issues that had built up before his arrival. As solid as his play on the field, it was the work he did in the locker room that made such a remarkable difference in such a short period of time.
From the start of spring, coaches and players alike raved about Knight’s leadership and how quickly he had earned his teammates’ respect.
