Johnny Manziel is starting in a football game on an ESPN channel tonight and we know you're excited.
The details?
Manziel, who won the Heisman Trophy with Texas A&M during the 2012 season, will debut as starter for the Canadian Football League's Montreal Alouettes, the team announced Tuesday. Manziell will play against his old team the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, who signed him to a two-year contract in May before trading him July 22 to Montreal.
The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
"I'm hoping to come in and just provide above-average, solid quarterback play and give us something consistent, week in and week out," Manziel told the Montreal Gazette.
