HOOVER, Ala. -- Two of the better running backs in the SEC sat on opposite ends of a massive ballroom on Tuesday morning.
On one end was Georgia senior Sony Michel, who sat in one corner in a black suit while fielding questions at SEC media days. His teammate, senior Nick Chubb, sat across the room in a charcoal gray blazer.
Together, they form one of the more potent running back pairs in the SEC. As a duo, they amassed 1,970 yards last season, 244 more than Texas A&M's Keith Ford and Trayveon Williams.
For the Aggies' offense to succeed this season, they'll need Ford and Williams to be every bit as effective as the Georgia tailbacks, both of whom returned for senior years instead of going pro.
