ARLINGTON -- Tom Herman is renewing his call for a revival of Texas and Texas A&M's football rivalry, once again, with nearly the same script he used from last year's Big 12 Media Day.
"I’d love to see the rivalry renewed," the third-year Texas coach said Tuesday at AT&T Stadium. "I think it’s great for college football. I think it’s great for Texas. There’s plenty of other inner-state rivals that are in different conferences that find a way to play each other -- Clemson [and] South Carolina; Georgia [and] Georgia Tech; Florida [and] Florida State; Iowa [and] Iowa State -- the list goes on and on.
