Around this time last year, Alton Robinson was still a member of Texas A&M's recruiting class.
Robinson, a 6-3, 235-pound defensive end from Converse Judson, hadn't enrolled in the summer because of a pending felony robbery case.
With the case unsettled heading into the preseason, the Aggies released Robinson from his letter of intent and he enrolled at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.
During that time, the case changed from a felony to two misdemeanor charges, both of which were dismissed on July 25.
After the charges were dropped, Robinson said he was on the verge of signing with Oklahoma State.
