Early in Colton Prater's time at Texas A&M, he was one of the constant staples in the Aggies' starting lineup.
As a true freshman, he was one of nine players who started all 12 games during the 2016 regular season. The interior offensive lineman was on track to be one of A&M's top contributors over the next couple of years.
But as a sophomore and junior, Prater's involvement diminished. During that two-year stretch, he did not make any starts in SEC play.
That could change in his senior year.
When coach Jimbo Fisher's visit with the Fort Worth A&M Club last week, Fisher tentatively had Prater slotted at right guard in the post-spring depth chart.
