When Texas A&M lost two former 5-star quarterbacks at the end of the 2015 regular season, the Aggies quickly scrambled to fill the attrition in the depth chart.
Enter Nick Starkel. The Argyle Liberty Christian alum flipped his commitment from Oklahoma State to A&M after the Aggies lost Kyler Murray and Kyle Allen in a high-profile exodus.
Three years later, Starkel is the one on the move. On Tuesday, A&M's back-up quarterback announced he will leave College Station this summer as a graduate transfer. The one-time starter will have two years of eligibility and can play as soon as this fall.
