Former Alabama and Texas A&M coach Gene Stallings was hospitalized after suffering a mild stroke this week but is now recovering back at his Paris, Texas home.
Stallings told The Tuscaloosa News on Saturday that he felt ill Thursday while in Montgomery, Alabama and later went to the hospital.
Stallings, 82, attended a banquet in connection with a meeting of the board of directors of Great Southern Wood before going to the hospital.
