There’s a lot excitement around the future of the Texas A&M baseball program under new head coach Jim Schlossnagle, but we should also take the time to recognize the great players departing the program. The 2021 Major League Baseball draft happened earlier this week, and it included four Aggies who will now continue chasing their major league dream.
- P Dustin Saenz (4th Round, Washington Nationals)
- P Bryce Miller (4th Round, Seattle Mariners)
- 1B Will Frizzell (8th Round, Washington Nationals)
- P Chandler Jozwiak (13th Round, Miami Marlins)
This is the 10th time in the last 11 seasons Texas A&M has had at least four players picked, with only three players drafted in last season’s COVID-shortened five-round draft.
