Former Texas A&M receiver allegedly hacks random jogger to death

According to Dallas police, former Texas A&M wide receiver Thomas Johnson murdered a male jogger with a “large edged weapon” Monday morning. The motive for the attack remains unknown.

Dallas Police Deputy Chief Rob Sherwin said about the attack, “It appears Mr. Johnson selected his victim at random… It’s very unusual. It’s quite shocking.”

So far the victim has not been identified, it has been released that he was a white male between 25 and 35 years old. His body was found shortly after 8 am, and later died at the hospital.
