Former Texas A&M quarterback Kyle Allen told CBS Sports that a lack of discipline and what he considers a frustrating "culture" that has carried over from the Johnny Manziel era contributed to his decision to transfer from Aggieland to Houston.
Allen announced in December that he would transfer before A&M's bowl game, and was followed a week later by freshman quarterback Kyler Murray. Few concrete explanations for the departures had been given before Allen opened up.
"I think the culture was a big part of it, and I think that stems from Johnny's era there - the way that they let Johnny and [others] act there," Allen told Dennis Dodd.
