A former Baylor quarterback is turning pro.

Auburn junior Jarrett Stidham will skip his final year of eligibility and will declare for the 2019 NFL draft, according to a statement issued on his Twitter account. Stidham spent the last two seasons at the SEC school after spending the 2015 season at Baylor.

"Words cannot describe the gratitude I have for the opportunity to play college football at Auburn University," Stidham said in his Twitter post.

In a statement provided to local reporters, Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said Stidham will play for the Tigers (7-5) in the Music City Bowl against Purdue (6-6).
