Nick Starkel probably couldn't have picked a better time to tell Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher about his future plans.
The way the former A&M quarterback told the story on a recent podcast appearance, Fisher had just finished duck hunting in Seattle when Starkel said he planned on transferring later this year.
Starkel was in the process of delivering the news and thanking Fisher for everything when the coach cut him off.
"He just kind of stopped me there and he knew what I was going to say," Starkel said on the latest episode of "The Justin Dunning Podcast" released Tuesday.
