MESQUITE -- The moment Texas A&M signee Dylan Wright wrapped up a conversation and popped out of a corridor in West Mesquite's auditorium, a large group of boys were waiting.
During Wright's recruitment, coaches were the ones clamoring to see one of the top wide receivers in the state.
But on Wednesday, that group was replaced with a younger demographic -- a gaggle of seventh and eighth graders from nearby Frazier Middle School who flocked to the front of the auditorium. They wanted a photo with one of the top players in the state.
As schools around the country finalized their classes on Wednesday, Wright explained why he felt comfortable signing with Jimbo Fisher's coaching staff.
